Towing FAQ for London, Ontario
The questions we hear most, answered plainly. Still not sure? Just call.
How much does a tow cost in London, Ontario?
It depends on the distance, the vehicle and the type of service. We give you the full price over the phone before we dispatch, and again before we hook up. No hidden fees.
How fast can you get to me?
We dispatch the closest available truck as soon as you call. Dispatch will give you an honest arrival estimate based on where you are and current road conditions.
Do you tow 24/7, including holidays?
Yes. We answer every day of the year, at any hour, including statutory holidays and storms.
Can you tow AWD and low vehicles?
Yes. We use flatbeds, which carry the whole vehicle off the ground, so AWD, 4x4, EV and low cars are moved without damage.
Do you work with insurance and roadside plans?
We tow for insurance claims and give you an itemized invoice to submit. If you have a roadside plan through a membership, credit card or vehicle warranty, keep your receipt; many plans reimburse towing.
Can I ride in the tow truck?
In most cases, yes, if there is a safe seat available. Let dispatch know how many people need a ride when you call.
Where will you take my car?
Wherever you choose: your mechanic, a dealer, a body shop, your home, or our secure yard. In Ontario, you have the right to decide where your vehicle is towed unless police direct otherwise.
What payment do you accept?
Credit cards are accepted on every tow, as Ontario rules require. Ask dispatch about other payment options when you call.
Do you tow from parking garages?
Often, yes. Some garages have low clearance, so tell us the garage and level and we will plan the right approach.
Do you buy scrap cars?
We remove scrap cars and often pay for them, depending on the vehicle. Call with the year, make and model for an offer.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Forest City Roadside is licensed and insured, and operates under CVOR/TO 175-891-011.
